TRACTION DRIVES FOR TRAM VAGONS AND TROLLEYS KPTT SERIES |

Traction drives KPTT series are intended for tram motion operation. Traction drives KPTT series contain in their structure all complete electric equipments which realize motion, except traction motors. Traction drives are applied either in new tram wagons or during wagons modernization (during complete overhaul realization). Traction drives KPTT series have modifications for tram wagons with two or with four motor trolleys. |
Traction drives KPTT series make voltage and traction motors excite current impulse regulation during following tram’s work modes:
· tram motion with different velocities in diapason from 5 to
· short time tram motion in “runaway” mode (that is at output voltage absence);
· recuperative braking at connected to the contact network users presence and switching to rheostat substitute braking during its absence.
